Meet the Author

My name is Graham Eltherington. I live on the beautiful Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

I grew up in middle class Sydney, lived most of my middle and later years in country regions and now settled on the Central Coast.

From the book’s perspective, I have been a Christian for just under 40 years, seen miracles and was healed of a condition that would have led to a life in a wheel chair, through the power of God. My early Christian walk was within the Apostolic movement, where the gifts of the spirit was normal place. However, over time, I have witnessed a decline in the general spiritual health of what we call church.

Without going into too much spiritual history here, at one defining period in my life, God showed me a massive wave of revival that would come to Australia. This was before I became aware of such a wave, that had already received prophetic utterance. From that point, I was taken down a pathway that has led to the writing of this book. I am passionate about seeing the church become who it was designed to be. History has so much to say and this book is an echo of such history coupled to biblical truths and scriptural realities.

This book called A New Perspective, has been forming in my heart for many years. It’s not a reaction against the Church, but a reflection born out of time, prayer, and observation. I’ve watched, listened, and learned, as God opened my understanding towards new foundations, that now forms much of what is presented in this book. Yet nothing is new under the sun.

I trust my book finds a home, so it can offer to hungry hearts what their looking for, in what is called the church in our modern world. There is so much noise surrounding many hearts today and my hope is, this book will bring a sense of clarity to help push away the noise.

The Message of the Book

Many believers sense that the struggles of life involve more than what can be seen. Scripture reveals a spiritual reality operating behind the events of history and the experiences of humanity. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible speaks of spiritual beings, heavenly councils, and unseen forces that influence nations and individuals.

Yet much of this biblical worldview has been lost or misunderstood over time.

This book explores the scriptural foundations of the unseen realm, the nature of spiritual warfare, and how believers can understand their place within God's redemptive plan.

A book called a new perspective

Why write this book

The worldview of the Bible is far richer and more complex than modern readers often realize. Ancient writers understood reality as involving both the visible world and the unseen spiritual realm.

By revisiting the biblical texts and the worldview of the ancient world, this book seeks to recover a clearer understanding of spiritual conflict, divine authority, church history and the role of God's people in the present age.
